About Me!

Hi there! I'm Kayda Troost, a passionate 2D artist and animator. I've been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil. In 2023, I went on to pursue a Bachelor of 2D Animation at the Academy of Interactive Technology (AIT).  I've been watching animated media since I was a child and my passion for animation expanded over the lockdown period. I've always loved and admired being able to tell stories through moving pictures, its, for a lack of a better word, art.

While I'm happy to work in many areas, I specialise in illustrations and character art and animation. I love being able to push the boundaries of designs and create dynamic still images as well as moving ones. I also really enjoy giving characters life for everyone to enjoy.
